FIGHTING KINGS!! !

My estranged twin sister came up with an idea for a video game about kings that fight each other a long time ago. The funny thing was that a vaguely similar idea had been floating around half-formed in my head around the same time or maybe for some time before. It's a funny idea because it's like a parody of a bunch of other "nerd" franchises; it seems that a lot of board games, card games, movies, TV series, video games, et cetera that "geeks" love are about fighting kings or something like that. I think the idea of a game where kings ride around on horseback and slash swords at each other sounds really funny and I laugh about it to my self a lot. Like really kitschy nerd-type stuff. I borrowed the idea for one of my fanfics (a Koopalings fanfiction) where one of the characters (Iggy) is obsessed with a game called Fighting Kings Whenever I see people at school playing some fighting kings game I kind of want to play but I don't because I know I will annoy them and I probably won't be able to concentrate on my studies so well afterwards anyway.

Anyway can anybody else name some franchises that are about fighting kings? I don't know too many off the top of my head.

In some of the ancient representations of Kings, like Tapestries and Pyramid paintings, the Kings are portrayed as being 2-9 times the size of regular people. That could be a cool game, like "Shadow of the Colossus".

The name kinda sounds a bit like King of Fighters

However, there seem to be some fighting games that feature kings as characters.
