I still have too much attachment to anything with a face. Last year I had to throw out some slippers shaped like zebras because they were too damaged and I felt so awful about it because faces mean they're alive.

I'd feel even worse if I threw out any of my more than 100 cuddly toys.

My teddy bear is sentimental value to me. He never comes off my bed, and I always makes sure he looks warm and comfortable.

I had him for my first Christmas, and I've been attached to him ever since. He seems to have a lot of expression in his face and body language. No, really, it's true. I don't see this in any other teddy bears only this one.

See, watching videos like these makes me feel so normal. :)

I've still got mine even though he's almost disintegrated with old age. He's probably older than I am. I've a vague plan to restore him one day, but I don't know how yet. Meanwhile he's safely hidden away. It bothers me that I'm not quite sure where one of his limbs is, but I'm pretty sure it's in the house somewhere.

I still care about him because he was such a good friend to me when I was a child, and to me it's as if he's alive somehow.
