I don't know how long this has been going on because it repulses me and I avoid participating in what I am posting about,but..what is it with this proliferation of forums, websites and chatrooms devoted to people being rude, vulgar and nasty to each other. I don't think they qualify as "trolls" specifically, because these are places where pretty much all the participants engage willingly, and derive pleasure from saying things that get a rise out of other people.

I just wonder if these kinds of sites contribute to the population of people who wander around the internet (trolls) being deliberately malicious? Are insult rooms just a huge training academy for internet trolls? These kinds of sites sicken me and try to avoid even casual unintended contact with such sites. It just makes me wonder what it is in human nature that drives or motivates a personality to derive enjoyment from causing others to suffer emotionally via the manipulation of semantics?

In this area I will claim naivety. I can tell you with complete honesty that I have no idea what this picture is meant to represent or what you are trying to convey.
