Can I associate with conservatives anymore?

Lately it sounded like conservative political culture isn't any different then Christian religious culture-I have been posting on a conservative internet forum where at least one poster seemed to act like disagreeing with them was a type of sin, thus having a different thought of opinion is even a sin.

And there's gay marriage-Why should I accept absolute truth if I have to exchange for it the belief that certain people are ills to society. OK, maybe this was the accepted way of thinking for many Americans before the 80s, but that was back then.

Is there anything I am missing?

I also want you to notice that I haven't changed to liberal either-I just reject both. I feel like what my parents told me to believe for a long time was false, and there isn't really any objective "conservative" or "liberal" if I was explaining that properly.

While I certainly do not hate everyone with more conservative view points, and can withstand interacting with people I disagree with as long as they don't try to push stuff I don't agree with on me or try to mock me for my opinions, I have to admit I deleted someone on my facebook friends list from when i added a few people to have friends for a facebook game I play since no one I know IRL really plays it...but didn't like one of their statuses that was garbage about people on welfare or something of that nature, went to their page and they seemed pretty cultish about the conservative thing so didn't want them on my friends list.

I can see why it?d be hard to associate with people who believe things like this, unless you?re one of them.

Liberals substitute the accusation of sin with evil and/or heartless.

That's changing one state at a time.

You should identify with one or the other if for no other reason than to drive the other side nuts.

There?s also the option of just speaking your mind and letting everyone identify you with their own favorite opponent.

What conservatives have to say about America has me questioning my beliefs in God...I used to love him very much. As in, some have said America will be judged and become weak. I don't understand why a loving God will affect a whole country that way. If I decide that I hate the government of any other country, it would be considered awful if I were to blow that entire country up with all it's people. I would never do that.

Don't let anyone, conservatives or liberals, affect your faith so easily. It's hardly faith if you can be swayed so easily.
