Hello all,

I have had an issue my whole life where I will ramble non-stop with no filter for a long time, even if the person I’m talking to isn’t listening to me. It’s almost like I’m having a conversation with myself, but to another person.

Does anybody else do this?

Yep, good ole ranting. Something I'm not proud of and often feel ashamed about afterwards. That's considered pretty common for people on the spectrum.

I used to do that as a kid & then started to keep my mouth shut because people started complaining about me talking too much. Then they started complaining about me being too quiet. I cant win. I still do it sometimes if I'm anxious.

It doesn't seem
excessive from my end,
but I've been told
otherwise.

I spend most of my
working hours
by myself,
so I can
regale the plants
with my sparking
rhetoric.

I also
ramble & mutter
(ocassionally rave)
first thing in the morning
as I make coffee
and get ready
to face the world.

It's the reverse for me , I get told that I don't talk enough which usually means that other people talk a lot to make up for my silence.
