Should I Switch To The IeP Diagnoses Of Autism?

I am currently under other health impairment due to a seizure Disorder

I don't know where you are, but in my area it would make sense to switch to the autism diagnosis in order to make sure you get the proper services. It depends what you need. Here, an OHI will not get you a twelve month IEP, but Autism will (so there is no gap in services). Also, if you are looking to switch to a different school for spectrum disorders, you would need a twelve month IEP. Here, OHI covers everything from ADHD to sensory, to medical issues. But, it is hard to get outside services that the school can't provide with OHI.
