I had my olanzapine decreased from 25mg to 20mg, and 300mg (150mg bd) amisulpride added on top.

I'm really struggling. Went hypomanic yesterday and today I had a morning of meltdowns and panic attacks.

Can anyone advise me on how I can get through this?

I've been hearing voices more often than normal and I nearly sent a flaming email to my tutor accusing him of gossiping about me behind my back. I am trying to stay rational but it is hard.

EDIT: the amisulpride wasn't added for psychosis, it was added for meltdown control as my psychiatrist doesn't like prescribing first-generation antipsychotics (fair enough), amisulpride is close-ish to first-generation when dosed higher but she's increasing it in steps, which is wise.

I'm glad you came to your senses, and you didn't send the email.

This means you have insight. That's half the battle right there.

What I usually do when I feel "out of sorts": read up on my "special interests."

Thanks. I just had to do an online quiz for uni work and now I will submerge myself in intermittently listening to The Prodigy and reading medical textbooks.
