The answer is no! LOL women dont care about fancy cars just a man who is genuine regardless of the gold digging stereotypes. Most women aren't gold diggers just putting it out there! You could be driving a 1990 Honda Civic and still get women she wants you for you and your personality not what car you drive or how much money you make!

The mood is not set right, I mean.... women jogging in parks or going their ways in the street in broad day: none of those would be in "seeking" mood really, he should have tried it in front of some nightlife place. His attire doesn't help either, one wouldn't think he really owns this car.

1. It doesn't fit a pram in the back.

2. Even if the girl were attracted to the guy with The Car, 12 months down the track she'd just pressure him to sell it in order to "upgrade" to a roomy SUV.

3. For every second young guy in a Ferrari/Lambo there is probably a repo man tailing him home.

Even though the last bit with the women crowding around the dog may have been staged, there is truth to it. I think women really are more likely to stop and interact with a dog than a car. I've done it myself and pretty much all my female friends have done it too (unless they don't like dogs). Pat the dog, ask questions about the dog etc.

Of course young men aren't looking to attract my middle aged self but the fact that my middle aged self is patting the dog seems to signal the younger women in the vicinity to come over too and they do and start patting the dog and I go on my way.

This is dependent on breed of dog. Dogs that look scary (Dobermans etc.) won't have that effect on any women except the ones who own that breed themselves. But everybody loves a Labrador.

The dark side of this tendency is that child molestors use it to lure children so parents are advised to warn their children of that. I have warned mine. It's such a universal tendency to stop and pet a dog that those with non-benign interest in getting people to stop use it.

So true, I have seen this effect on my friend's dog - it's way more effective that all the douches parking their fancy cars in front of pubs/clubs.

Actually trucks like Ford F450 are the most attractive for females.

I never liked trucks. I only dated one guy with a truck. I never picked a guy because of his car but a good car was a plus for a guy I liked. I liked fast cars. I also owned one. I had a pro stock Mustang when I was young and single and raced it so a lot of the guys I met back then had cars that I liked. I only dated a couple of guys with that kind of car though. I actually dated a few guys with no car. I dated one with a motorcycle. He was the best looking guy I had ever seen, built like a Greek God, and he had a motorcycle. He was also way in love with me. However he was stupid. I don't mean he had something wrong with him causing it, he was just stupid. He was good looking enough so that it just didn't matter for several months. He's the one who took me on some of the most interesting dates I went on. They were great. We went cave exploring, camping on top of a mountain, and target shooting. He taught me to ride his motorcycle. I ran into him about 16 years ago when I was out shopping at a junk store with all four of my kids. He still looked great but he was working there at that store for a living. He never really did much in the way of a job. He had a little trailer in Leeds he said. We kept in touch for a little while then lost touch. I do hope he finds a girl, he is nice. It was just the stupid factor that makes girls dump him after a while. Also the fact that he was hung like a centipede. Really.

I believe the best dogs for this are spaniels, those big eye's, floppy ears and loads of friendly cute factor.

Only if you live in Buttf*ck Egypt!

Then again, the kind of females you're likely to attract with a Ford F450 are mostly deer.

Good to know I'm not the only Jalop here. Same user handle over there. FYI Doug replaced the Modena with a Skyline and *crosses toes* a Lancia Delta Integrale. I'm empirically positive girls prefer understated, comfy, practical wheels; hence my turboed wagon. Sure, some people are more ostentatious than that but how many of us have any interest in that nonsense?

I think its the guy driving the car they are attracted to a muscle car might attract em more than some exotic! Esspecially Mustangs i have seen more women driving Mustangs then men because they like them at least based on observation it doesn't apply to all women just the ones into fast cars. Fellas don't feel shocked that ya lost a drag race to a female driver hehe!

American V8s sound & handle like off-balance washing machines. I choose to subtract three or four cylinders for any & all purposes.

Let's go drifting. cberg's recipe: Volvo 24X DL/GL + Lexus 1UZFE V8 + rear limited slip + Porsche brakes.
