I have been tasked with cleaning the kitchen this week. I just pulled out all of the appliances to clean behind them, and it looks like no-ones been there in years. There is dust, grease and cobwebs everywhere, and worse yet, the fridge had a tree growing in the back of it!! ! 8O

LOL@the tree! I find it hard to scrub things cuz of pain and muscles weakness in my hands. So I squirt Cif/Ajax on whatever needs scrubbing and leave it. After afew hours, the chemicals will have dissolved the stubborn grase and grime and can be easily scraped of. My fave method of scraping is with a DIY scraper cuz it had a wide blade and does a bigger area in one go. The other thing is those wire scrubbers for pots and pans. The thicker the wires the easier the scrubbing. Don't forget the marigolds : )

@babyheart
Luckily the grease came off easily, but I don't wear marigolds, I can't stand anything that covers my fingers. My hands are quite resilient. :)
@Kiprobalhato
It was only a small tree, very sickly looking. It's amazing what nature can do!

Does that mean you can't wear gloves in the winter?

Btw, your tree reminds me of how when I was growing up, I used to imagine waking up one day to find a beanstalk growing outside my window. : )
