A heroic fantasy french cartoon serie that I recently discovered. I don't talk about the MMORPG of course. (Though it's in the same universe, I'm not into MMO.)
The story follow a 13 years old kid named Yugo gifted with the power to create portals going in a adventure searching for his real family. In his quest he's accompanied by Sir Sadlygrove Percedal a Iop (Warrior) with little brain and in posession of a sword possesed by a shushu (A shushu is a demon.), Amalia a Sadidas princess with the power of growing plants and in possession of a magical puppet, Evangelyne a Crâ (An archer able to launch magical arrows.) and bodyguard of Amalia, and Ruel Stroud a Enutrof (Basically a rogue.) with a lot of greed. (In Québec french we could describe him as more séraphin that Séraphin.)

The serie is surprisingly good and this is unfortunate that it only got out of France in a few countries. The characters are memorables and the animation, made mostly in Flash and in a anime style, is top notch. (They even managed to make a lot of shading, something I though too hard for a Flash based animation serie. (See My little pony.)) Though I found the second season in general weaker that the first, it more that make up fo it with it's last episode, which I consider as the best of the serie, surpassing all my expectations. This is too bad that a third season never materialised, even though the serie was very sucessful it was costly and the executives didn't like that the serie was bringing peoples outside of it's intended demographic. (I guess they like it when peoples fit in neat little cases, not suprising there is so little good animation made nowaday for television. Which is propably one of the reason why a serie with atrocious writing like Skyland got exported, but not a serie with good writing like Wakfu.) It is said that there is now talks for a third season however.

So, even though there is no answer to this thread, ( :( ) I bumping it to say that the serie is now available worldwide on Netflix. There is one problem though, it's english dub only. Well, I guess it must be available in french in France, but where I am, IN QUEBEC NO LESS, the serie is only available with a english dub (A bad one too, according to those who watched it.) So I'm a french canadian living in Quebec who can only watch legally in english a serie made in France and originally in french. Sorry, but this is simply UNACCEPTABLE!! ! What a bunch of jerk!! !

The dub is fine, I saw one episode, I can't watch more, the flash animation is obnoxious.
