Do you stand on the sides of your feet?

When I'm standing in one place, I will often roll my feet out to stand on the sides. I've done this for as long as I can remember, for some reason it just feels natural. People have asked me before why I'm standing that way so it must not be very normal.

Is this an ASD thing, similar to toe walking maybe? I have never done that, my mom said I just had a very jerky and unnatural looking walk. But I always stand on the sides of my feet.

Hey

Yes I always do that, I'm always falling over or into people because of it.

I agree it just feels really comfortable and natural. I also stop moving on my tip toes so I'm constantly toppling over. I must look like an idiot because it always makes me giggle when I do it.

I do this occasionally. More often I will stand on my toes and balls of my feet with my heels about 1-2" off the ground and knees unlocked and slightly bent.

I used to do this as a kid and have a few photos of it.

I don't remember when I got into the habit but I catch myself doing it. It's messing up my control when trying to roller skate

OH MY GOD YES!! ! Sorry about my all caps. I noticed that I do this when I walk and run. I started running this past summer and quickly had to give it up because I gave myself tendinitis in both feet. Obviously, it's not good to land on the sides of your feet when you are running. I eventually had to give it up because otherwise I would have to relearn how to walk.

I think I did when I was a kid. It may be an aspie/autism thing. Haven't done it in years, though. I'd probably fall over if I tried it now.
