I know i haven`t been on here a lot but i would love to be a moderator on a forum again. I was a senior mod on a youtube forum and enjoyed it so much. I seen some things in chat that could be moderated and calm things down. I be good at that.

If by "chat" you mean "IRC", that's run independently from WP the web site. Your best bet there would be to speak to a ChatOp.
