Isolated and favourite player didn't get an award
I hate being sick, because it means I can't go to work and even though I hate the work itself my co-workers are beyond awesome (for how revolting our job is, we should NOT spend that much time laughing!). At work and at the footy I get a healthy dose of "safe" human interaction with people I know and trust (yeah, they're NTs, but so what?) which keeps me happy. If I don't get that, I seem to get really irate and upset.
Also, my favourite player, probably the best defender in the AFL, didn't get an All-Australian guernsey even though he's been our Club Champion for the past two years - yet one of our midfielders got in because this year he's started getting 40+ disposals a game. So when my favourite player has been consistently good for 3 years now he's completely ignored, but because some flashy midfielder is popular he gets in?! I don't begrudge him getting in, because he's turned out to be a great player, but it would be nice if my favourite was acknowledged too!
So I'm now irate, upset and annoyed.
