I have a rescue feral black and white cat, Hazelnut. she goes out alone because i live first floor, ground level. she brought home:

twigs, a chalky small rock, leaves, a huge brown butterfly, one lone pink slipper whose twin was lost without a trace, a man's underwear, black and caked with a huge amount of dried mud, an eaten apple wrapped in toilet paper, a hairnet, feather, a magnet you can glue to the refrigerator and looks a bit like pinapple.

the cats i used to have brought home winged cockroaches and birds i tried to save but failed.

what did your pet bring home?

and which item would you prefer your pet would bring home?

I have little dogs. They bring in sticks and leaves.

When I was a kid, I had an Akita dog named Satin. She would often try to hunt and kill any animal that is in the backyard, and was sometimes known to bring her kill home, such as possums and birds, and one time, a skunk.

Lol, some of the items your cat brought home are unusual and very funny. :)
Cats: mice, rats, shrews, frogs, rabbits, and of course birds, placed on my doormat for a morning surprise, all part of the semi feral outdoor cat experience.
Dogs are nice this way: sticks, stones, old bottles and the occasional gross unidentified object they dug up.

One of my dog likes to bring in bits of tree attached to his tail, and occasionally slugs hitch a ride which is really gross

Our big old tom cat would specialize in killing, and eating, squirrels.

He would take them to the basement landing to devour them in their entirety: the whole squirrel except for their tails.

After a while the landing was covered furry dismembered squirrel tails radiating around the sump pump like a bunch of furry question marks.

To the OP: Your survey has no option for "Brassiere or Bikini Top".

she never brought this home, but whenever i take clothes out of the laundry, my silly little fool sits on the laundry machine and grabs bras with her teeth. i pull, and she resists. we struggle. sometimes i win, and sometimes the silly baby leaps off the laundry machine with the prize between her teeth and play with it.

my cat who'd died a year ago came home on several occassions with hibiscus attached to its tail. it got tangled in the fur, and he held his tail up high in a sign of satisfaction. wouldnt let me take it off and attacked me if i tried. huge hibiscus, red.

I think that we do not understand the significance of shrubbery adornment in the animal kingdom. They do seem to wear the outside like a badge of honor

The old cat brought home a mouse in a mousetrap.

Behold, the great hunter.

That'd be dead.

I'm guessing he was trying to share it with us or something.

A couple of my cats bring in the occasional mouse, but one brings in different things.

She likes us to have feathers and silver paper. Anything silver like Kit Kat wrappers. She must think they're valuable.

Once my mother asked her to find her a box of tabs (cigarettes) and she did. That was amazing. They were empty, of course, but still amazing.
