Hi all. Long before I heard of aspergers, I only knew that for some reason, I had trouble with sports and co ordination
in general. Could not skip rope, took me a year to ride a bike, etc. In my 30's, I decided to do something about it,
so I took a dance class at the YWCA. One led to another, and within a couple years, I was taking classes five times
a week. I took ballet, jazz, belly dance, hula, whatever I found find. Well, it worked! Although I never graduated
to a level past "beginning", my co-ordination did improve! I can catch a ball, can throw a paper wad and hit the
wastebasket, not terrified if someone wants to play soft ball or toss a frisbee! Only another aspie will understand
what I mean.

So, if you too are a "D-" PE student and hate sports and dance, take notice. If you commit to moving, especially
moving to music, you CAN and WILL get better. Takes time and effort, and don't expect a huge improvement,
but you will be able to hit the dance floor or play sports.
