For whatever reason, hats really bother me. When I wear one I hate the feeling of something touching the top of my head. Just curious if anyone else doesn't like wearing hats?

I've never liked hats for similar reasons, and never even wear one in winter unless I have to. I will pull a hood over my head, instead. I do like putting blankets over my head like a hood, or sometimes having a small pillow on my head.

Especially as a child, yeah. I don't even remember the last time I wore a hat so I don't know if it'd still bother me now.

Well, something is touching your head, so that makes sense!

I prefer hoods, only time I wear caps is in the rain.

I dislike wearing hats.

Over the years, the dislike has become less intense.

I'll wear them in the winter if it's ESPECIALLY cold.

John Kennedy, perhaps, was the guy who made going hatless "stylish."

If you see pictures from the 1950s or previously (especially pre-WW II), you'll find the vast majority of people wearing some sort of hat outdoors.

After Kennedy's presidency, bareheadedness became hip.

i hate wearing hats so much that i would like to design an assembly that i could place on top of my head that would ensure i could never mistakenly put one on.

As for me I never go out without having a hat on.

It protects me from direct sun ray into my eyes and keeps my hair away from my sight.

I don't like the pressure of a hat even when it's not really that tight. I also don't like feeling as if the hat were still on my head even after I take it off.

I prefer to wear a hat, a ball cap, actually. It helps keep the sun out of my eyes. A ball cap and sunglasses are my uniform in summer.

I don't mind wearing hats, they don't really bug me.

Actually, I love hats.
I've learned that when I wear them,
people are more likely to come over and talk to me.
So it gets them to make the first move.
That's cool by me.

Of course, we're talking eccentric hats here ...

As for normal hats, if they keep my head warm
I like wearing them.

I used to hate it till l I started losing my hair due to male-pattern baldness & I moved to Vermont which is closer to the sun & gets colder in winter. So I kind of need to wear one when I go out which I almost always wear but not inside cuz I still don't really like wearing one.

Oh man, I hate hats. I hate the way they feel, and they make my forehead sweat, which I really, really hate. I have driven a few employers nuts because of my consistently "forgetting" to wear the uniform hat (I get away with it because I've always been good at whatever job I do, despite my quirks). They bothered me less when I had more hair, since I kind of just balanced hats on top of all the hair and couldn't really feel them, but I still hated wearing them, mostly because I couldn't see the point. A baseball hat does not keep hair out of food (I would have been okay with a hairnet since that actually makes sense), and if people are in your business, they don't need the logo on a hat (AND shirt) to tell them where they are.

Mostly I just hate sweaty foreheads.

I'm a serial hat-wearer. I prefer hats with turned-down brims that hide my face but I also wear caps sometimes.
